AP Art History Draws To a Close

The AP tests are done, so what are the AP Art History Stu dents doing? Playing dodge ball? Not quite. Mrs. Mills Art History class is continuing to learn Art History in new and interesting ways. Some of the activities the students have done include researching a painting and acting out either what happened five minutes before or five minutes after.

Most recently the students have done a day of foods based off of different art historical periods. The students brought in food, drinks and decorations to represent their selected periods. Represented  there was the French Rococo Period, Modernism, and the Renaissance among others.

The French Rococo group brought in Madelines, Macaroons, butter cookies, strawberries, grapes, chocolate croissants, hot chocolate and sparkling pink lemonade. And like all of the other groups the French Rococo group brought in clothes and other items to decorate accordingly.
